The chair measures about 110 × 105 × 70 cm and the footstool about 61 × 61 × 34 cm, both covered in a soft fabric the supplier calls cloud velvet. Easy Life Markets sells the set in the one colour shown.

The shape does the work here. Fat, rounded segments rise around you like the ribs of a pumpkin, so the back and sides hold you in from every direction. There are no legs, no hard frame and no sharp corners. It is a seat for curling up with a book, watching a film or putting your feet up at the end of the day, and the supplier's photos show it in living rooms, bedrooms and on a covered porch.

What Is in the Box

1 × foam chair

1 × foam footstool

1 × user manual

The supplier lists this as "1 set of sponge sofa" and one manual.
