12V Emergency Car Jump Starter – Car Emergency Start Power, 39800 Capacity Battery Rescue Pack, Digital Display & Air Pump Options
12V Emergency Car Jump Starter with Display and Air Pump Options
This 12V emergency car jump starter is a red and black portable booster pack that you keep in the car for the day the battery will not turn the engine over. It is sold in six versions: a standard kit, a deluxe kit and a deluxe kit with an air pump, each with either plain indicator lights or a digital display. Easy Life Markets sells it for drivers who want a compact rescue pack in the boot instead of relying on a second car and a set of long cables.
A flat battery is rarely convenient. The interior light was left on, the car sat for three weeks, or a cold morning finished off a battery that was already tired. A booster pack like this one clips straight onto the battery terminals and supplies the burst of current the starter motor needs. If you have never done it, the jump start article walks through the principle and the order in which the clamps go on.
What Is in Each Kit
The supplier gives a packing list for two of the kit levels.
Standard kit:
- 1 x starting power unit
- 1 x heavy clamp lead
- 1 x fast charger
- 1 x three-way charging cable
- 1 x paper storage box
Deluxe ("Luxury") kit:
- 1 x starting power unit
- 1 x heavy clamp lead
- 1 x charger
- 1 x car charger
- 1 x three-way charging cable
- 1 x storage box
The air pump version is named by the supplier as a deluxe kit with an air pump, but the supplier does not itemise that kit separately. If you want the pump version and need to know exactly what comes with it, ask us first.

A word on the "39800" figure. The supplier's sheet uses it as the capacity and also repeats it on the output power line, without a unit we can confirm. We treat it as the supplier's model label, not as a measured rating, and we suggest you do the same. The supplier does not publish a peak current or a maximum engine size for this pack. The supplier's sheet also names FCC under product certification; we have not seen the certificate ourselves.
What the Photos Show
These details come from the product photos, not from the written sheet:
- Three LED lamps at one end of the housing
- A small compass set into the top face
- A round pad on top marked with a wireless charging symbol, with a phone shown resting on it
- A red power button
- On the digital display version, a screen showing the charge level as a percentage
- On the ordinary version, a row of four blue indicator lights instead of the screen
- Red and black battery clamps on a short lead
Ordinary or Digital Display?
Both do the same job. The digital display tells you the charge as a number, which is easier to trust than counting lights when you are deciding whether the pack needs topping up before a trip. The ordinary version shows the level on four lights. If you are the sort of person who checks things, the display is worth having.
Standard, Deluxe or Air Pump?
The standard kit covers the basics: the pack, the clamps and a way to charge it. The deluxe kit adds a car charger, so the pack can be topped up from the vehicle's 12V socket while you drive. The air pump version is the one to look at if you also want to deal with a soft tyre at the roadside.
How to Use a Booster Pack Safely
- Switch off the ignition, lights and accessories.
- Check that the pack is charged.
- Plug the clamp lead into the pack.
- Connect the red clamp to the battery positive (+) terminal, then the black clamp to the negative (–) terminal or a bare metal earth point.
- Start the engine. If it does not fire within a few seconds, stop and wait a minute before trying again.
- Once the engine runs, remove the black clamp, then the red one.
Never let the two clamps touch each other, and follow the instructions supplied with the pack where they differ from this outline. This pack is listed for 12V systems. Do not use it on 24V trucks or 6V classics.
Looking After the Pack
- Charge it fully when it arrives and top it up every few months. A booster that has been left flat in the boot for a year will let you down.
- Keep it out of direct sun on the parcel shelf. Heat is hard on any rechargeable battery.
- Keep the clamps clean and dry.
- If the housing ever swells or gets hot while charging, stop using it.
Who This Jump Starter Is For
It suits everyday drivers, people whose cars sit unused for long spells, and anyone who travels where help is a long wait away. Because the supplier gives no engine-size rating, we would not recommend it on that basis for large diesel engines. A pack with a published peak current is the safer choice there.
Common Questions
Will it start my engine? It is listed for 12V vehicles, but the supplier does not state a peak current or engine limit. For a small or mid-size petrol car a pack of this type is the usual choice. For anything bigger, contact us before ordering.
Can it charge a phone? The kits include a three-way charging cable, and the photos show a pad marked with a wireless charging symbol on the unit. The supplier gives no output figures for either.
