This farmhouse bathroom wall cabinet has two barn-style doors with X-brace panels, an adjustable shelf behind them, a full-width drawer below and an open shelf on top. It measures about 24 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 25 inches high (610 × 230 × 637 mm) and is built from particleboard and MDF. The body is white with a darker grey top and black bar handles. Easy Life Markets sells it in white.

It is sized to hang over a toilet or beside a mirror, adding a proper cupboard without taking any floor space. The open top shelf is good for rolled towels and things you want on display, the cupboard hides toiletries and spare rolls, and the drawer keeps small items such as razors and hair ties from rolling around. The supplier's photos show it mounted above a toilet in a bright bathroom.

A Straight Answer on the Details

"Waterproof". The supplier calls the cabinet compression-resistant and waterproof. Particleboard and MDF with a surface finish resist splashes and steam reasonably well, but they swell if water gets into an edge or a screw hole. We call it moisture-resistant at best. Keep it away from direct shower spray and wipe up water.
"Warp-resistant". A supplier graphic uses this term. It refers to the board, not a test result we can show you.
Load. No weight limit is stated. A wall cabinet's strength depends mostly on the wall and fixings, so use plugs suited to your wall and do not overload the shelf.
Top colour. The title says white; every photo shows a darker grey top. We mention both.
Not stated: Weight, maximum load, inside dimensions and included hardware.

What Particleboard Means for You

Particle board is made from wood chips pressed together with resin. It is flat, stable and keeps furniture affordable, and MDF is used where a smooth face or fine detail is needed, such as the panelled doors here. The weak point of both is the cut edge, which can soak up water. Sealed edges and a dry wipe after splashes go a long way.

Assembly and Fitting

Lay the panels out on a soft surface and check the parts against the instructions.
Assemble the carcass, fit the drawer runners, then the doors and handles.
Set the shelf at one of its three heights.
Find a solid fixing point: above a toilet, the cabinet base should clear the cistern lid comfortably so it can still be lifted.
Check for pipes and cables, fix the cabinet level with suitable plugs and screws, and adjust the door hinges so the doors meet evenly.

Planning the Space

Measure before you order. The cabinet needs a clear patch of wall at least 24 inches (61 cm) wide and 25 inches (64 cm) high, and it projects about 9 inches (23 cm) from the wall. Above a toilet, most people hang the base somewhere between 20 and 30 cm above the cistern, which leaves room to lift the lid and to reach the open top shelf without stretching. Beside a mirror, line the top of the cabinet up with the top of the mirror for a neat look.

Think about the doors too. Each door swings outward, so check that a light fitting, a shower screen or the edge of a window will not stop them opening. The drawer pulls straight out and needs about 9 inches of clear space in front, which is rarely a problem on a wall-hung unit.

Inside, the adjustable shelf has three positions. Set it high if you store tall bottles on the cupboard floor, or low to create a deeper top section for spare toilet rolls and towels.

Avoid soaking the edges or using abrasive cleaners.
Ventilate the bathroom to limit steam.
