The M52 sleep earbuds are a pair of very small, flat Bluetooth buds designed to be worn lying down. Each one is a smooth bean shape with no stem, so there is little to press into the ear when your head is on a pillow. They come in black, white and skin tone, with a pebble-shaped charging case that has a digital display. Easy Life Markets sells them as one set.

Where the Supplier's Data Disagrees with Itself

We would rather show you the gaps than paper over them.

• In-ear or not. The specification table says the wearing style is in-ear. The supplier's pictures say "non-in-ear wearing" and show a bud resting in the bowl of the ear. From the shape in the photos, we expect a bud that sits in the outer ear and points towards the canal, without a deep rubber tip.
• Waterproof. The feature list includes the word, with no IP rating. We do not describe them as waterproof. Keep them dry.
• Noise cancellation. Listed in one phrase. One of the supplier's pictures talks about noise reduction for voice calls, which is a microphone feature and not the same as blocking a partner's snoring. A bud that does not seal the ear cannot block much outside sound, so do not buy these as earplugs.
• Battery life. The 4 to 8 hour range is wide. The lower figure may not cover a full night, so think of them as something to fall asleep to and not something that plays until morning.

2. Take both buds out of the case. They normally switch on and link to each other.

4. Return them to the case to switch off and recharge.
