Mesh Task Chair – White Frame Swivel Chair with Flip-Up Arms, 8 Configurations

This mesh task chair is a mid-back swivel chair with a white frame, a black mesh back, a black padded seat and armrests that flip up out of the way. It adjusts in height on a gas lift and rolls on five castors. Easy Life Markets sells it in eight configurations, lettered A to H, which differ in base, seat pad and whether the back tilts.

It is a neat, light-looking chair for a desk, a meeting table or a study corner. The mesh back lets air through, which keeps you cooler than a padded back over a long day. The flip-up arms are the useful touch. Fold them up and the chair slides right under a desk, or you can sit close to a low table without the arms hitting the edge. The supplier's photos show the arms rotating through about 90 degrees.

A Straight Answer on the Details

  • No measurements are given. The supplier provides no size diagram, seat height range or seat width. It looks like a standard adult task chair in the photos. If the size is critical, ask us before ordering.
  • The option wording is rough. The supplier's descriptions for C, D, G and H are loosely translated, such as "backrest can be tilted and closed 120°". We read all four as chairs whose back tilts to about 120 degrees and can be locked upright. One line for D says "rubber pad" where the pattern of the list points to latex.
  • "Steel feet". In the photos the base is white. The supplier does not say whether the steel base is painted white or has a different finish.
  • Latex. One photo shows a perforated foam of the kind sold as latex. The thickness and whether it is natural or synthetic are not stated.
  • "Ergonomic" and "conference". Both words were in the original title. It is a simple, comfortable task chair. There is no headrest and no adjustable lumbar support in the photos.
  • Not stated: Dimensions, weight limit, chair weight and gas lift class.

Sitting Well

Ergonomics is the study of fitting work and equipment to the person. For a desk chair the basics are simple, and they matter more than any feature list. Your feet should rest flat on the floor, your thighs roughly level, your lower back in contact with the backrest and your forearms supported at desk height. Then get up regularly. The best posture is the next one.

Setting It Up

  • Adjust the seat height first, with your feet flat and your knees at about a right angle.
  • Sit back so the mesh takes the weight of your lower back.
  • Use the arms down for typing, level with the desk if they line up, and flip them up when you want to sit closer.
  • On the tilting options, lean back gently and keep your weight over the base.
  • Re-tighten the bolts a few weeks after assembly.

Sensible Use

  • Use it on a level floor, one person at a time.
  • Do not stand on the seat or sit on the raised armrests.
  • Hard castors can mark wood and laminate. A chair mat protects the floor.
  • Do not open or heat the gas lift cylinder.

Care

  • Vacuum the mesh with a soft brush attachment.
  • Wipe the white frame with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. White plastic shows scuffs, so wipe marks off early.
  • Blot spills on the seat and let it air dry.
  • Keep sharp objects and pet claws away from the mesh.
  • Pull hair and fluff out of the castors when they start to drag.

Who It Suits

Home offices, shared desks, meeting rooms and study corners where a light, bright chair that tucks away is more useful than a large executive one.
