This minimalist towel set is a plain, solid-colour cotton set of three: a 70 × 140 cm bath towel, a 32 × 73 cm hand towel and a 33 × 33 cm square towel. A Straight Answer on the Details

Colour names versus photos. The photos are not labelled with colour names. We see a yellow-green, a soft mint, a coral red and a periwinkle, which are probably Bright yellow, Emerald green, Scarlet and Light Purple, so some shades may look different from their names. Grey, light grey and blue grey are close to one another. If you are matching an existing colour, ask us for advice first.
"Square". The original product name says square towel set. Only the smallest towel is square; the bath and hand towels are rectangular.
Cotton content. The supplier's sheet lists cotton twice and a content value of "1". We take it to mean all cotton, but no percentage is printed.
Not stated: Towel weight or GSM, yarn type and care instructions.

Why Cotton Is Still the Towel Standard

Cotton fibre is mostly cellulose, which attracts and holds water. That is why cotton towels dry skin far better than towels made only from polyester, which tends to push water around rather than soak it up. Cotton also gets softer and more absorbent over its first few washes as the finishing agents from the factory wash out. The trade-off is drying time: a thick cotton towel takes longer to dry on the rail than a synthetic one, so good airflow matters.

Using Each Piece

Bath towel (70 × 140 cm): Long enough to wrap round the body for most adults after a shower. Hang it fully open on a rail so it dries before the next use.
Hand towel (32 × 73 cm): Hangs from a towel ring or short bar beside the basin. It is also a good size for drying hair, for the gym bag or for a guest who only needs a small towel.
Square towel (33 × 33 cm): A face cloth for washing and removing make-up, or a small towel for a baby's bath. Change it often, as small cloths stay damp longest.

Care
