Will It Fit Your Room?
This is a big sofa. At 292 cm long and 164 cm deep in the U shape, it needs a wall of about three metres and a clear floor area of roughly 3 × 1.7 m, plus space to walk round it. Mark that footprint on your floor with tape before you order.
Getting it indoors is the easy part. Because the modules arrive compressed in cartons about 103 cm long, they pass through ordinary doorways, stairwells and lifts that would stop a conventional sofa.

- Allow time to expand. The supplier says the cushions can take up to 72 hours to return to shape after unpacking. Kneading them gently helps air back into the foam. Do not judge the comfort on the first day.
- Wrinkles. Compression can leave creases in the fabric. The supplier suggests smoothing them gently with an iron. Use low heat and a cloth between the iron and the boucle.
- Low back. The backrest rises 9.8 inches above the seat. This is a low, lounge-style sofa. The loose pillows give the support for the lower back and neck. If you prefer to sit upright with a high back, it may not suit you.
- Deep seat. A 24.4 inch seat is deep. It is made for curling up and lying down, and shorter people will want a pillow behind them to sit with feet on the floor.
