Motion Sensor Night Light – Rotating LED Stick Light, Battery or Rechargeable
Motion Sensor Night Light – Rotating LED Stick Light, Battery or Rechargeable
This motion sensor night light is a slim stick-shaped LED lamp that switches on when someone walks past and off again when they have gone. The lamp section turns on its base so the light can be aimed, the brightness dims smoothly with a long press, and there are three colour temperatures from warm to cool. Easy Life Markets sells it in white or grey, in battery and rechargeable versions, with or without the motion sensor.
It has no wires, so it goes where a mains lamp cannot: inside a wardrobe, on a stair wall, under a kitchen cabinet, beside a bed or in a tent. The supplier shows it hung by its loop, stood on a shelf, fixed to a surface and carried in the hand as a torch.
What Is in the Box
- 1 × night lamp
That is the supplier's full packing list. A charging cable, batteries and fixings are not listed in writing. Ask us before ordering if you need to know what comes with a particular version.
Options
Read the option names carefully, because they describe three things at once: sensor or no sensor, colour, and power source.
- Induction Gray Battery Version: Grey, motion sensor, battery powered
- Inductive White Battery: White, motion sensor, battery powered
- Induction White Charging: White, motion sensor, rechargeable
- Ordinary Gray Battery Version: Grey, no motion sensor, battery powered
- Ordinary White Battery Version: White, no motion sensor, battery powered
- Ordinary White Charging: White, no motion sensor, rechargeable
"Induction" is the supplier's word for the motion sensor. The "Ordinary" versions are switched by hand only. If you want the light to come on by itself, choose an Induction option.

What the Supplier Does Not State
- Battery type. The battery versions do not say which batteries they take or whether any are included. Plan to supply your own and ask us if you need the size beforehand.
- Battery capacity and run time on the rechargeable versions. Not stated.
- Size and weight. Not stated. The photos show a lamp that fits in one hand.
- Brightness in lumens. Not stated.
- Weather resistance. None is listed. The supplier mentions camping and outdoor use, so treat that as use under cover and keep it out of rain.
- How long it stays on after movement stops. Not stated.
- Rotation figure. The supplier's text says 350 degrees and one of its pictures says 360. Either way the lamp turns almost a full circle.
How the Sensor Works
Sensor lights of this kind normally use a passive infrared sensor. It reacts to the warmth of a body moving across its view. That has some practical effects:
- It notices someone walking across in front of it more readily than someone walking straight towards it.
- It needs a clear line of sight. A sensor hidden behind a door frame or a pile of clothes will not trigger.
- Warm air from a radiator or a sunny window can set it off.
- Pets can trigger it. Mount it higher if that is a nuisance.
Many sensor night lights are built to trigger only in the dark. The supplier does not say whether this one has a light sensor, so do not be surprised either way.
Where to Put It
- Wardrobes and cupboards. Fix it under a shelf facing the door so it lights when you reach in.
- Stairs and hallways. Low on the wall, aimed across the walking line, within 3 metres of where people pass.
- Bedside. Use the warm setting at low brightness so it does not wake you fully.
- Children's rooms. Out of reach, on the warm setting.
- Camping. Hang it by its loop inside the tent and use it as a torch on the way back.
Using It
- Fit batteries or charge the lamp, depending on the version.
- Press the button to switch on. Follow the supplier's instructions for changing between the three colour temperatures.
- Hold the button down to dim or brighten, and let go at the level you like.
- Turn the lamp section on its base to aim the light away from your eyes.
- Hang, stand or fix it in place.
Care
- Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep water away from the charging port and battery cover.
- Take the batteries out of a battery version that will not be used for months.
- Top up a rechargeable version every couple of months in storage.
- Do not force the lamp past the end of its rotation.
Who It Suits
Anyone who gets up in the night and does not want to switch on a ceiling light, households with dark cupboards or stairs, renters who cannot add wiring, and campers who want one light that works at home as well.
Common Questions
Is it a smart light with an app? No. Despite the word "smart" in the supplier's name, no app, WiFi or Bluetooth is listed. The sensor is what makes it automatic.
Can the sensor be turned off? The supplier does not say. If you want manual control only, choose an Ordinary version.
Which is better, battery or rechargeable? Rechargeable saves buying batteries. Battery versions can be back in use straight after a battery change.
Does it change colour? It changes between warm, neutral and cool white. It is not a multicolour light.
