400A Car Jump Starter 12V – 400A Peak 20000mAh Portable Power Booster, Battery Charger Power Bank with 3 Flashlight Modes
400A Car Jump Starter – 12V Pocket Booster and Power Bank
This 400A car jump starter is a slim 12V booster for small petrol engines, and it doubles as a USB power bank and an emergency torch. The supplier rates it at 400A peak and 200A start current and lists it for petrol engines up to 2.0L only. Easy Life Markets sells it for owners of small cars who want something that fits in a glovebox or a handbag, not a heavy box that lives in the garage.
The limit matters, so we will say it early: this is not a pack for diesels or for big engines. The supplier states "up to 2.0L gas engine only, not for diesel engine". Inside is a lithium polymer battery, which is why the whole unit weighs only 216 g. For a city car, a small hatchback or a compact saloon with a petrol engine, that is the appeal: it is light enough that you will actually carry it.
What Is Included
- 1 x car jump starter
- 1 x clamp lead (listed by the supplier as "clips")
- 1 x 3-port USB cable
- 1 x user manual
A mains USB adapter is not in the supplier's package list. You will need your own, and the supplier asks for an AC 100–240V adapter with a 1A or 2A output.

Will It Start Your Car?
Go by the engine, not by the size of the car:
- Petrol engine, 2.0L or smaller, 12V system: within the supplier's stated range.
- Petrol engine above 2.0L: outside the stated range. Choose a larger pack.
- Any diesel engine: not suitable. The supplier says so directly.
- Motorcycles and mowers with a 12V battery: the supplier does not list them. They have small petrol engines, but check your owner's manual for jump-starting advice first.
Your engine size is on the registration document and usually on a sticker under the bonnet. If you are unsure, send us the details and we will tell you whether this pack or a bigger one makes more sense.
Three Jobs in One Small Case
Jump starter. The clamp lead plugs into the EC5 terminal on the pack and clips onto the battery.
Power bank. The USB output is 5V/2A, enough to charge a phone or tablet at a normal rate. The supplied cable is a 3-port type, so one lead covers different devices.
Torch. The single LED has three modes: steady light for looking under the bonnet, strobe to make yourself visible, and SOS.
Charging the Pack
The supplier is specific about this, and it is worth following:
- Charge it from a wall socket adapter, not from a computer USB port. A computer port does not supply enough current.
- Use an AC 100–240V adapter rated 1A or 2A.
- Charging time depends on the adapter. The supplier does not quote a figure. With a 5V/1A input, expect it to take a good while from empty, so charge it overnight before you put it in the car.
Using It on a Flat Battery
- Turn the ignition and all accessories off.
- Plug the clamp lead into the pack.
- Red clamp to battery positive (+), black clamp to negative (–) or a clean metal earth.
- Start the engine. Keep each attempt to a few seconds and leave a pause between attempts.
- When the engine is running, unclip black first, then red, and unplug the lead from the pack.
Do not let the clamps touch each other. The user manual in the box takes priority where its steps differ from this outline.
Storage and Care
- Top the pack up every few months even if you have not used it.
- The working range is -20 to 60 °C. A closed car in summer sun can get hotter than that, so keep the pack in the glovebox or boot, not on the dashboard.
- Recharge it after every jump start.
- Keep it dry. The supplier does not list any water resistance rating.
Who This Pack Is For
It suits owners of small petrol cars, new drivers, students and anyone who wants a light backup that also charges a phone. It makes a practical present for someone with their first car. It is the wrong choice for vans, pickups, large SUVs and anything with a diesel engine.
Common Questions
Can I use it on a 1.6L diesel? No. The supplier lists it for petrol engines only.
Does it come with a wall charger? No. The package list has the pack, the clamp lead, a 3-port USB cable and the manual.
How many jump starts per charge? The supplier does not give a number for this model, so we will not quote one.
