800A Car Jump Starter Booster – 800A Peak 28000mAh 12V Battery Charger, Up to 6.0L Gas or 3.0L Diesel Engine, LCD Screen, 4 Modes LED Flashlight
800A Car Jump Starter with LCD Screen and 4-Mode LED Light
This 800A car jump starter is a red and black 12V booster rated at 800A peak and 400A start current, with a lithium polymer battery the supplier lists as 28000mAh. It is listed for most vehicles with petrol engines up to 6.0L or diesel engines up to 3.0L. Easy Life Markets sells it for drivers who want a mid-size pack with a clear charge display, a proper warning light and enough capacity to charge phones on the side.
A car battery rarely dies at home in the dry. It goes in a car park after work, on a campsite, or on the hard shoulder at night. That is why this pack is built around more than the clamps. Besides the jump function it has an LCD that shows what charge is left, an LED with a red and blue flashing mode to warn other traffic, a compass and a safety hammer. For the basics of how a battery, starter and charging system work together, the automotive battery article is a useful read.
What Is in the Box
- 1 x car jump starter
- 1 x battery clamps
- 1 x USB cable (22 cm / 8.66 in)
- 1 x US plug charging cable (92 cm / 36.22 in)
- 1 x car charger cable (100 cm / 39.37 in)
- 1 x user manual
- 1 x package box
The mains charging cable has a US-type plug. If your wall sockets are a different type you will need a plug adapter, or you can charge the pack from a vehicle with the car charger cable. The supplier's specification also mentions a 22 cm laptop connecting cable, but it is not in the package list, so do not count on one being in the box.

Matching It to Your Vehicle
The supplier lists the pack for 12V vehicles with engines up to 6.0L petrol or 3.0L diesel. That takes in most family cars, SUVs, people carriers and light vans. It does not cover diesels over 3.0L or 24V trucks. The supplier also states it can jump start a vehicle "more than 10 times" on a charge. Take that as the supplier's figure for good conditions. A big engine on a freezing morning takes far more out of the pack than a small one in summer. Not sure about yours? Tell us the engine size and fuel and we will point you to the right pack.
Working the Light
The supplier gives exact instructions for the LED, and they are worth knowing before you need them:
- Turn the power button to ON.
- Press the LED switch once for steady white light.
- Press again for strobe.
- Press again for SOS.
- Press again to switch the light off.
- Quickly double press the switch for the blue and red flashing light. Double press again to turn it off.
The blue and red mode is the one that sets this model apart from our other packs. If you are stopped at the side of the road at night, a flashing warning light makes the car far easier to see than hazard lights on a battery that is already flat. Check what your local rules say about using flashing coloured lights at the roadside.
Safety Features Listed by the Supplier
The supplier describes a built-in intelligent protection function in the clamps, covering about eight conditions, and names these:
- Over-current
- Short-circuit
- Overload
- Over-voltage
- Over-charge
- Reverse connection
These help if something goes wrong. You should still connect red to positive and black to negative, and keep the clamps from touching each other.
Charging and Everyday Use
- Turn the switch to ON before charging. The supplier flags this as a required step.
- A full charge takes about four hours according to the supplier.
- Two USB outputs at 5V 2A charge phones and tablets, so the pack works as a power bank between jump starts.
- The LCD shows the remaining charge. Look at it before a long trip.
- The compass on the housing and the safety hammer on the side are there for emergencies. The supplier suggests the compass for hiking and travel.
Jump Starting in Six Steps
- Check the charge on the LCD.
- Switch off the ignition and all accessories.
- Connect the clamp lead to the pack.
- Red clamp to positive (+), black clamp to negative (–) or a clean earth point.
- Start the engine in short attempts with a pause between them.
- When it runs, take the clamps off, black first, and recharge the pack when you get home.
Where the user manual says something different, follow the manual.
Who Should Choose This Model
It suits drivers of mid-size and larger petrol cars, diesel cars and vans up to 3.0L, and people who are often on the road after dark and want a real warning light. For a small city car a lighter pack is enough. For engines above the listed range, look at a higher-rated unit.
Common Questions
How long does it take to charge? About four hours, according to the supplier.
Is there a wall charger in the box? There is a US plug charging cable and a car charger cable. Buyers with other socket types need a plug adapter.
