The chest and waist figures only make sense as widths with the garment laid flat and unstretched, so double them for the measurement all round. Swim fabric stretches beyond that.
These Run Small: How to Choose a Size
Look at the last column. On the supplier's own chart every size is meant for a child shorter than the size number. A size 100 is suggested for a height of 85 to 95 cm, and a size 140 for 125 to 135 cm.
- Measure your child's height and find the row whose suggested height includes it.
- If your child is at the top of a range, or is sturdily built, go up one size. The supplier gives the same advice for children who are heavier than average for their height.
- Check the top length against a T-shirt that fits. A rash top should reach the waistband of the trunks with the arms raised.

The supplier describes this set as UPF 50+. We have not seen a test report or certificate for that rating, so we pass it on as the supplier's claim and do not present it as a tested or certified figure.

- Do not wring. Press the water out and dry flat or on a line in the shade.
- Do not tumble dry or iron. Heat breaks down elastic fibres and can damage prints.
