These long tassel earrings are made of several fine strands of rhinestone chain that hang from the ear in a straight, glittering fringe. The metal is electroplated alloy in a gold or silver tone. Easy Life Markets sells them as a pair, or as a single earring for the left or right ear, in two styles.
They are evening earrings. The strands swing and catch the light every time you turn your head, and in the supplier's photos they reach well below the jaw. Worn with hair up or swept to one side, they do the work of a necklace, which is why this style is so popular for weddings, parties and photographs.

The Options Explained
There are eleven options. They combine a colour, a style and how many pieces you get.
- Gold one pair / Silver one pair: Two earrings, left and right, in the first style.
- Gold left / Gold right / Silver left / Silver right: One earring for the ear named, in the first style.
- New Gold Pair / New Silver Pair: Two earrings in the second, "New" style.
- New Gold Left / New Gold Right / New Silver Right: One earring in the "New" style. There is no "New Silver Left" option.
The two styles. The supplier does not describe the difference in words. Its photos show two designs: one where the strands hang straight down from a small stone at the lobe, and one where a graduated fringe hangs from a large open hoop, with a separate stone stud. We believe the hoop design is the "New" style, but we have not confirmed it. Check the photo that appears when you select an option, and ask us if you are unsure.
Buying a single. One long earring worn with a small stud on the other side is a deliberate look, and it is why singles are offered. If you want a matching pair, choose a "pair" option. It avoids any mix-up between left and right.
A Straight Answer on the Details
- Gold plating. The supplier's own colour names describe the finish as real gold plating of a stated carat. It gives no evidence for this, and its material entry says only alloy with electroplating. We have not verified the plating and make no claim about it. Please buy these as gold-tone or silver-tone fashion earrings.
- The stones. They are small clear decorative stones in a chain setting. We describe them as rhinestones. They are not diamonds.
- Length and weight. Neither is stated. In the photos the fringe is several centimetres long. Long earrings with many stones are heavier than studs, so if your lobes are sensitive, wear them for an evening and not all day.
- The fastening. The supplier's packing list calls the piece an ear hook. It does not describe the fitting further. These are earrings for pierced ears, as the photos show them worn through the lobe.
- Skin sensitivity. No hypoallergenic claim is made, and nickel content is not stated. If your ears react to costume jewellery, be cautious.
About Rhinestones
A rhinestone is an imitation diamond made of glass, crystal or acrylic, usually with a reflective backing so that it flashes in the light. Set close together on a fine chain, as they are here, rhinestones make a flexible line of sparkle that moves like a thread. That is what gives tassel earrings their liquid, shimmering effect.
How to Wear Them
- With hair up, slicked back or tucked behind one ear, so the full length shows.
- With a strapless, off-the-shoulder or high-neck dress, and no necklace. The earrings are the statement.

- Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth, along the strands, not across.
- Do not use jewellery dips or polish. They strip plating and can loosen stones.

- If strands tangle, lay the earring flat and tease them apart with a pin. Do not pull.
