Plug In Wall Heater with Remote Control

This plug in wall heater plugs straight into a wall socket, so it needs no floor or table space. It uses a PTC ceramic heating element, has an LED display with an adjustable thermostat and comes with a remote control. Easy Life Markets sells it in black, pink or white, with AU, EU, UK or US plugs.

It is designed for small spaces: a bathroom, a small bedroom, a home office, a nursery or a hallway. The supplier says it is quiet in use, at around 36 to 45 dB, which is about the level of a library or a quiet fridge.

Features

  • Plugs into the wall: no stand, no cable across the floor.
  • LED display and thermostat: set the temperature you want and read it at a glance.
  • Remote control: change settings from across the room.
  • 12 hour timer: programmable, so it switches off on its own.
  • Safety cut-offs: overheat protection and tip-over protection.
  • Splash resistant: rated IPX2, with flame-retardant housing, according to the supplier.

A Straight Answer on the Power Rating

The supplier describes this plug in wall heater as 600W in one place and "below 500W" in another. Either way, it is a low-power heater made for small rooms, not a main heating source for a large living room. If the exact wattage matters to you, ask us and we will confirm it for your plug type.

Is a PTC Heater Safe?

PTC ceramic elements limit their own temperature as they warm up, which is why they are common in small heaters. Even so, use it with care. Keep it clear of towels, curtains and clothes. The supplier says you can dry clothes on it, but we do not recommend it, because covering any heater is a fire risk. In a bathroom, fit it well away from the bath, shower and sink, and follow your local wiring rules. Read more about space heaters.
