Silicone Toilet Brush Set – Long Handle Toilet and Bathroom Cleaning Brushes with Holder, Floor-Standing or Wall Hanging

Silicone Toilet Brush Set with Long Handles and Holder

This silicone toilet brush set pairs two long-handled cleaning tools in one white holder: a round brush with soft rubbery bristles for the toilet bowl, and an angled scrubbing brush for the floor, tiles and glass. Easy Life Markets sells it in two styles, a floor-standing version and a wall-hanging version.

Most toilet brushes do one job and leave the rest of the bathroom to a sponge. Here the bowl brush and a general scrubber share a single base, so both are to hand and both drip into the same place. The handles are about 38.5 cm long with metal shafts, which keeps your hand well away from the water. The supplier's photos show the set beside a toilet and fixed to a wall.

What You Get

• One round toilet brush with a soft bristle head
• One angled scrubbing brush with firm bristles
• One two-slot holder, floor-standing or wall-hanging depending on the option you choose

The supplier lists the package as one toilet brush set. It does not mention spare heads, screws or adhesive pads for the wall version. Ask us if you need that confirmed before ordering.

Floor or Wall: Choosing an Option

Landing is the floor-standing holder. It sits behind or beside the toilet and can be moved when you mop. Wall hanging is the same pair of brushes in a holder that fixes to the wall, so nothing sits on the floor and cleaning around it is easier. The supplier does not state how the wall version is fixed. Ask us if your wall is tiled and you want to avoid drilling.

A Straight Answer on the Details

• Silicone or TPR? The title says silicone and the supplier's text says TPR. Both describe the same soft, rubber-like bristles that rinse clean easily. TPR is a thermoplastic rubber rather than true silicone.
• "Goes deep into the pipe". The supplier says the soft head can reach into the outlet and help clear it. It will reach a little way into the trap. It is not a plunger or a drain auger.
• "No peculiar smell". The supplier says the base is ventilated so the brushes dry. That helps, but the holder still needs emptying and rinsing now and then.
• Not stated: Holder width and depth, weight, wall-fixing method and whether replacement heads are sold.

Why Rubber Bristles

Traditional nylon bristles trap paper and hair and hold on to dirty water. Bristles made from a thermoplastic elastomer are smooth, so most debris rinses off when you flush. They are also softer on the glaze of the bowl. The trade-off is that soft rubber bristles bend more, so for limescale rings you may still want a pumice stone or a descaler.

Using the Set

• Use the round brush for the bowl, under the rim and the start of the outlet.
• Use the angled brush for the floor around the toilet base, grout lines, the shower tray and glass.
• Rinse each brush in clean flushing water, then tap it against the bowl edge before putting it back.
• Keep the two brushes in their own slots so the toilet brush stays a toilet brush.

Care

• Empty and rinse the holder once a week.
• Soak the heads in diluted bleach or a disinfectant from time to time, then rinse.
• Replace the set when the bristles splay or tear.
• Avoid very hot water, which can soften plastic parts.

Getting the Most from Two Brushes

Having two heads in one holder only helps if they stay in their own lanes. A simple habit is to keep the round brush on the side nearest the toilet and the scrubber on the outside, so you always reach for the right one. The angled brush is useful for the strip of floor behind the pedestal, where a mop rarely gets, and for the grout lines around the base of the toilet, which collect the most grime in any bathroom. Its firmer bristles also suit shower screen tracks and the edges of a bath. If you prefer to keep the scrubber purely for the toilet area, a quick rinse in hot soapy water before it goes back in the holder is enough. Both handles are long, so you can reach the floor without kneeling.

The wall-hanging option is worth considering if you clean the floor often. With nothing standing on the tiles you can mop straight round the toilet, and the holder stays out of reach of small children and pets. Leave a little space under it so the brushes can drip freely, and position it at a height where you can lift the brushes out without bending your wrists.

Who It Suits

Households that want one tidy holder for toilet and floor cleaning, rental flats where a wall-hanging option avoids clutter, and anyone moving away from old-style nylon brushes.
