2. Mark the tip of your longest toe.

• Not real leather. The supplier's attributes use the word "Napa" for the surface finish. Its material entry is artificial PU, which is a synthetic, leather-look material. We sell these as PU shoes.
• Sole height. The supplier lists a height of 3 to 5 cm and, separately, a flat heel. Both fit what the photos show: a level platform with no separate heel. No exact figure is given.
• Gold and rose gold. These are metallic-look finishes on PU. The gold pair in the supplier's photos is a pale, champagne-like gold. Check the photo for the option you choose.
• The sole colour. In the photos we have seen, the black and gold pairs both have a white sole.
• "Wear-resistant". Listed by the supplier with nothing to support it. We make no claim about how long the sole or the finish lasts.
• Not stated: Weight, insole material, whether the insole comes out, and any slip resistance.

About Platform Shoes

A platform shoe has a thick sole under the whole foot. Because the toe is raised along with the heel, the foot stays close to level. You get extra height without the forward pitch of a high heel, and most people find that easy to walk in.
