A Straight Answer on the Details
- It is particleboard, not solid wood. The grain you see is a printed or laminated surface over board. It looks like stained timber in the photos and is not.

About Particleboard
Particle board is made from wood chips and resin pressed into flat panels, then covered with a decorative surface. - In a hallway. You need a clear wall of at least 160 cm. The table stands 35 cm out, so leave 90 cm or so of walkway beside it.
- The drop-down front. Leave room in front of the table for the panel to open. Behind a sofa, that means the storage faces away from the sofa back, or you reach over.
- Under a window. Check the sill height against 85 cm.
Putting It Together
