"Leather" is the supplier's option name. Its specification lists the upper material as artificial PU, which is a synthetic leather-look material. These are not real leather shoes, and we do not sell them as such. The mesh options have a textile upper in the same shape.

How to Measure Your Feet
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you would wear with the shoes.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Choose the size whose foot length matches or is just above your measurement.
The supplier's guidance is to go up one size for wide feet and to stay at your measured size for feet of average width. A PU upper does not stretch the way mesh or soft leather does, so if you are choosing a PU option and are between sizes, take the larger. PU or Mesh?
- PU upper. Smooth and wipe-clean, with a sharper, dressier look. It keeps out light splashes. It is warmer on the foot and does not stretch.
- Mesh upper. Softer, cooler and more forgiving of a wide foot. It lets water in and is a little harder to keep clean.

- "Non-slip". The supplier lists this as a function. It gives no test or rating, and the sole is described as moulded plastic. Take care on wet, smooth floors, as you would with any casual shoe.
- The sole. "Plastic, injection moulded" is the supplier's wording. Soles like this are light. They are usually not as hard-wearing as solid rubber.
- The insole. EVA is the soft foam used for cushioning in most trainers. The supplier does not say whether the insole is removable.
- Markings. The photos show a text label on the tongue and lettering on the side. These are the maker's own markings. We sell the shoes as unbranded.

How to Wear Them
