The Z60 smart watch is a square phone watch on a metal mesh strap, with a colour screen, a small camera above the display and a side button. The supplier's pictures present it as a "smart watch and phone": it pairs with a handset over Bluetooth, and it takes a micro SIM card and a memory card to work as a stand-alone phone. Easy Life Markets sells it in black, gold and silver, plus a black option with a silicone strap.

Read This Before Buying for the SIM Function

Phone watches of this design normally use GSM, the 2G mobile standard, and have no 3G, 4G or 5G radio. The supplier does not state the Z60's bands. Mobile operators in many places have shut down 2G or are doing so. Where there is no 2G service, a SIM in a 2G-only watch will not make calls or send texts.

Before buying for stand-alone calls, ask your operator whether it still runs 2G GSM where you live, and ask us to confirm the watch's bands. If 2G is not available, the watch can still be used with your phone over Bluetooth.

Using It with a Phone

Paired by Bluetooth, a watch of this type works as a wrist extension of the phone. The pictures show a phone function, an anti-lost function that warns when watch and phone move apart, and a remote camera function that triggers the phone's shutter from the wrist. The pedometer runs on the watch itself.

The Metal Mesh Strap
