Inside the Cabinet

Behind the doors, the supplier's photos show a fixed space at the top and an adjustable shelf that divides the rest, which the supplier describes as two storage rooms. You can move the shelf to suit tall bottles and vases or shorter stacks of plates. The drawer below runs the full width and is shown holding stationery and glasses cases. It is the place for cutlery, table linen, candles or the things that otherwise clutter a hall table.

A Straight Answer on the Details

It is MDF, not solid wood. The body is painted medium-density fibreboard. Only the feet are labelled as solid wood, and only in a photo caption.
Damp. The supplier claims MDF "won't be affected with damp". We do not repeat that claim. Painted MDF resists the odd splash, but if water gets into an edge or a chip the board swells. Keep this cabinet out of bathrooms and away from steam.
The paint. The supplier's text says UV paint and one photo says NC paint. Both are common furniture lacquers. We cannot tell you which was used.
It is narrow. At 71 cm wide this is a compact cabinet, closer to a small cupboard than to a full dining sideboard. Check the width against your wall.
